Christmas Mother 2025

Amien Dulio

I am incredibly honored to serve as the 2025 Powhatan Christmas Mother. Powhatan has been my home for over 47 years—I grew up here, attended school from kindergarten through graduation, and built my life around the strong sense of community that makes this county so special. I met my husband, Anthony, in high school, and we are coming up on our 30-year Wedding Anniversary. Together we’ve raised two wonderful daughters in the county, Aislin and Allie. While I can remember Powhatan as a quieter, slower place in my childhood, I’ve loved watching our county grow while holding onto that same spirit of neighbors helping neighbors. It warms my heart that our girls feel that same love for our Powhatan community and want to stay close to home. This holiday season, I’m excited to gather my family to volunteer, and they are eager to bring joy however they can. As a local Realtor in the county, at Village Concepts Realty Group, I love helping people find their perfect homes, with a splash of decorating thrown in whenever I can. There’s nothing I love more than spending time with my family, whether soaking up the sun at the beach or sharing laughs on the deck by the grill. I’m an avid animal lover and have quite a few fur babies at home and I enjoy playing pickleball whenever the weather lets us. This role is especially meaningful to me because my grandmother, Marie “Good” Brown, served as the Powhatan Christmas Mother in 1989. I have fond memories of being a shopper alongside her and seeing firsthand the impact this program has on local families. Following in her footsteps is both humbling and exciting. I know what our community can do when we all come together, and I am thrilled to play a part in spreading as much good as possible this holiday season. Every family deserves to feel special and cherished and we can make that happen as “A Village Full of Good”.
